Abstract

Educational assessment standards were prepared in order to complete the assessment standards. This study aims to describe the ability of teachers in assessment of thematic learning. Based on the results of the research, which shows the performance evaluation based on the curriculum 2013, has not been fully implemented by Shanta 1 SD Negeri Malang and MI Nurul Islam sub district of Tajinan. The obtained data will be very useful for determining measures or policies relating to the assessment standards, which in turn is expected to improve the quality of the school. Keywords: Assessment, Thematic Learning

Abstract

Based on the observations of pre research made in class V MI NW Pancor Kopong, it found the problem that the Indonesian teachers have difficulty in teaching of poem writing. The problems of low ability to write poetry on students are always a constraint among learners and teachers, especially in V MI NW Pancor Kopong in 2013/2014 academic year. Based on this reality, the researcher conducted a study with the aim to improve students' writing poetry at class V MI NW Pancor Kopomg in 2013/2014 academic year through the implementation of constructivism strategies in learning the Indonesian language. Data collection techniques of this study are test and observation. The collected data were analyzed to find the average value, ideal capabilities and look for the ability of group. Based on the result of analysis, it obtains the outcome of student learning with an average 49.86. Classically, it just reaches 17:24%. It means that of 29 students, there are 6 students who have completed or received value above 65 and an increase in cycle II. At the second cycle, 9 of 29 students have fulfilled the criteria of minimum completeness. Based on the percentage calculation obtained, the classical learning completeness is 31.03%. The result of the second cycle has not yet reached the target set. Target can be reached at the third cycle in which 27 students of 29 or 93.10% have been completed. Result of the third cycle has exceeded the target of 90%. Based on the analysis, the application of constructivism learning strategy models to improve the ability to write poetry in grade V MI NW Pancor Kopong at the academic year 2013/2014 in the field of the Indonesian language is successful. Keywords: Ability to write poetry, constructivism learning strategies.

Abstract

Learning through the media of information and communication technology is expected for children to be intelligent, critical, and creative, and able to solve problems relating to everyday life. Awareness of teachers to improve the quality of education through the medium of ICT is the integration in the achievement of life skills as the main orientation of educational purposes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique, with 28 research subjects of certified educators in elementary school Singosari. The result showed that teachers already know about the media ICT learning through workshops conducted by the Ministry of Education, Books, Training and seminars as well as through training when taking part the teacher certification. Keywords: Teachers with Certified Educators, Media ICT, Learning SD

Abstract

This research aims to improve student achievement by improving the learning process using methods that make students more active in participating on social studies and improve the quality of teachers in the subject of social studies at MIN Manisrejo. This study uses a class action research design composing of two cycles and pre-action. In each cycle has steps of planning, action, observation and reflection. Research subjects used are IVC grade students of MIN Manisrejo consisting of 28 students. Learning model used is STAD, which is in collaboration with a social studies teacher IVC grade of MIN Manisrejo. The results showed that the STAD can be used as a means to increase student achievement in describing an overview of natural disasters in social studies, namely the average total score of 47.87 in the pre-action increased to 61.87 in the first cycle which uses only media images and the second cycle which uses STAD increased 74.8. Learning at the pre-action is considered ineffective, while the first cycle that uses media images is considered effective enough. The first cycle that uses STAD is considered very effective. Based on the research results, it can be suggested that in social studies learning at IV grade of MIN Manisrejo especially in subjects describing the causes of natural disasters using STAD. In addition, the results of study can also be used as guidelines for further research. Keywords: Achievement, STAD Learning

Abstract

This article is a theoretical study on the implementation of a pragmatic approach in learning speaking skills at school. Pragmatic approach is one of learning approaches that aims to train students to improve their speaking skills at school. This approach focuses on contextual learning speaking skills, particularly in the process of learning at school. Through this approach, students will be brought closer to practical conditions of speaking both orally and in writing. Thus, the learning skills of speaking with a pragmatic approach are very effective in creating active learning, especially in improving their speaking ability in the classroom and outside the classroom. Keywords: pragmatic approach, speaking skills

Abstract

In the learning process of Physical Education in, teachers are expected to teach varieties of basic motor skills, techniques and strategy of games and sports, internalization of values (sportsmanship, honesty, cooperation, etc.) as well as the conditioning of healthy lifestyles. The implementation is not through conventional teaching in the classroom consisting theoretical studies, but it also involves elements of physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and social. The activities which are given in teaching should get a methodical didactic touch, so that the activities carried out can achieve the aim of teaching. The problem formulation of this research is: is there an increase in the ability of service in the game of volleyball with “make-match” at VII-H grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wonoasri in 2012/2013 academic year? The purpose Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to improve the quality of learning on the physical education in doing “service” in a volleyball game through a “make-match” learning approach In this study, researchers have collaboration with other teachers and the principal. Researchers are involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the researech. Researchers try to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities that take place. The implementation stages of the action research consist of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. To obtain accurate results, the collected data in study were statistically analyzed using the formulas of mean or average. The result showed that the average value of the first cycle of 66.14 (46.33%) while the Cycle II 91.29 (96.43%) in the second cycle, it has increased significantly. Referring to the hypothesis that the actions proposed in this class action research, it can be concluded that: there is an increased ability of “service” in volleyball games with “make-a-match” at VII-H grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wonoasri in 2012/2013 academic year. Keywords: Skill Upgrading, Make A-Match

Abstract

Transactional leadership is described as providing an explanation of employees responsibilities and rewards they can expect if the specified standards is achieved. Transformational leadership approach motivates employees, so that they can thrive and achieve high levels of performance. In addition it is also necessary to support the performance of the good discipline of employees. Broadcasting companies who have employees working on the division of operational and management needed different leadership style to support the realization of optimal performance. This study used a qualitative approach. Sample was 136 people who are determined by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used Likert scale models. Data analysis using validity test, realibitas test, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of correlation coefficients and determination. The results showed that together transactional leadership styles, transformational leadership styles, work discipline affect the performance of the company's employees broadcasting. Partially transactional and transformational leadership style had no effect on performance. And partially work discipline most dominant effect on performance. Keywords: Influence of Transactional, Leadership Style and Discipline Performance

Abstract

Abstract Education is a systematic process to improve human dignity in a holistic manner that allows self potentials (affective, cognitive, and psychomotor) develop optimally. Curriculum 2013 adheres to the basic view that knowledge cannot be moved away from the teacher to the learner. For learners, learning should be shifted from "notified" to "actively seek out". One of methods that can be applied is a game “What's in here?”, that is learning with the game questions that make students happy to learn but it is also able to educate students to be more creative thinking and develop knowledge. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw method in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Pakualaman Bantul and SD Gandok Islamiyah in 2014/2015 school year. This research design uses quantitative research methods. Collecting data in this study uses the test method. The used test methods in this research are the pre-test and post-test given to the experimental group and the control group. While the data analysis is a statistical method t test (t-test). The results of data analysis t test (t-test) obtained value = 3.34. At the significance level (α) = 0.05 and with db = 38 obtained value = 1.6859. So that is 3.34 ≥ 1.6859, therefore Ho is rejected H1 accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect on the use of cooperative learning of jigsaw model in social studies on student achievement of class III SD Islamiyah Pakualaman at school year 2014/2015. Keywords: Cooperative Model Jigsaw Type, Learning Achievement
